I have been a dog owner most of my life. But I just recently acquired a cat when I moved back to my house. It has definitely been a process trying to figure her out, but definitely worth it.
She’s always trying to find a new place to hide.
So yesterday, I started the dishwasher and went to the couch with my dog to watch TV. All of a sudden I started hearing loud meowing and banging!
I muted the TV and started looking around for her. I looked at all the rooms, and her normal hiding spots. But, when I got closer to the dishwasher her meowing got louder!
I freaked out because it was set to dry heat mode. And all the worst possible scenarios started rushing through my head!! I ran to the emergency turn off switch for the dishwasher. I opened the dishwasher, and nothing. But the banging and meowing was still going on.
I opened the cabinet right next to the dishwasher and there she was! She must have sneaked in when I went to get the soap for the dishwasher. She definitely gave me quite a fright!
I should have known since she does like hiding in the cabinets.
